In the past seven years, 1,842 people have crossed the finish line at the Tri-Town Family 5K. While most race events are established to raise money for various worthy causes, the Tri-Town Family 5K has a free registration to ensure that cost not get in the way of participation. Rather than fundraise, the missions of this 5K are raising young runners and encouraging active families. Local businesses fully fund the race, providing donations used to pay for race day expenses such as the timing company, DJ, food, facilities, and prizes.
